Leo Billion is Chairman at SHF

Leo Billion (°1937) started his own company “Elbicon” in 1972 after a successful career for 8 years at a US multinational. Two years later he found a market niche in automated visual inspection mainly for the food industry in which Elbicon became the outspoken world leader in less then 10 years time. After 23 years of entrepreneurship he sold his group of companies in 1995 and started SHF with the aim to share his experience as an entrepreneur with other for high-tech starters. He was one of the first Business Angels in Belgium. Leo has engineering degrees in electronics, mechanics and nuclear sciences, and master degrees in finance, management and economics. He is chairman of the board at Target and sits on the board at Arenco and TBL. He is also an acting commercial judge and is a boardmember at Flanders Business School.

Marc is Managing Director of SHF

Marc (°1966) holds an Engineering degree in electro-mechanics & material-technology and a Master's degree in financial management. After positions at ASCO (QA Audit Engineer) and Horton (Sales Engineer & Sales Manager), he joined SHF, practically from the start, in 1997. He has been Managing Director since 2001. He is also interim CEO of Arenco Pharmaceutica NV, Chairman of the board at Vivactis, and sits on the board at AsicAhead, Silicos and Xenics

Dirk is the Financial Manger of SHF

Dirk (°1967) holds a Masters’ degree in Economics from Antwerp University. He spent most of his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), and before that Coopers & Lybrand, where he gained 13 years of experience as Senior Audit Manager.

He sits on the board at TBL.
